Potatoes and Cauliflower Gratin With Comté cheese

Ingredients
  • 1 egg / 50 grams of eggs.
  • 450 g potatoes.
  • 500 g cream.
  • 1 kg Cauliflower / 1 head.
  • 50 g Comté cheese.
  • 100 g lardons.
Prepare
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Separate the cauliflower and peel the potatoes.
  2. Boil the potatoes and the cauliflower in water for 15 minutes. Once they’re cooked, drain the vegetables and slice the potatoes.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the cream and the egg. Add salt and pepper to the mix. Butter an oven pan and layer the potatoes and the cauliflower. Sprinkle the lardon on top.
  4. Pour the cream and the egg mixture over the vegetables. Finish by adding a top layer of grated Comté cheese. Cook in the oven for 15 minutes. Serve immediately.
